Hacienda el Rejo was born from the dream and vision of Mrs. Virginia
Chiriboga, who bought the farm more than 35 years ago, where she built her country house, and seeing the wasted space (warehouse, and place where the cows rested) the idea of building a restaurant was born, she had always been an enthusiast of the Cocina, and praised for its seasoning among its acquaintances, against all odds, it begins with the construction, little by little, using the available resources, and directly inspecting the execution of the work.
They open their doors in association with the SUR Restaurant, and thus the Sur Campestre was born, until in 2015, with the activity of the Cotopaxi volcano, they closed the doors and entered a period of renovation and construction of the Brand, which is today Hacienda El Rejo, integrating the restaurant, the hostel and the agricultural business.
We use fresh, quality products that, mixed with the perfect seasoning and excellent service, are capable of creating new experiences for those who visit us.
